I believe it is possible to achieve wealth even with a modest income. I believe that, even if you're not cut out for anything other than being an employee, you can still achieve a great deal of freedom in your life.
I grew up on a farm in Denmark, became an English teacher and moved to the US in 1985. I have lived on Long Island since then.
I have always had a desire to learn about new things, study them and work them into my life. The topics I've studied range from computers and networking them, over peaceful dispute resolution to worker owned cooperatives. More topics will no doubt be added to that list.
I would very much like to see some sort of intentional community living in my not too distant future.
